Professor Peter Terry and doctoral student Julian Lim from the University of Southern Queensland have recently launched a mood profiling website at The site provides automated assessment of mood responses using the Brunel Mood Scale (BRUMS), instantly generated mood profiles and a detailed report, plus evidence-based mood regulation advice where appropriate. At present, access forms part of a research project to evaluate the site and generate a broader range of norms than currently exists. All ASPASP members are able to access the mood profiling website free of charge to assist their work with athletes, their teaching and/or their private practice. They are also free to pass on the link to colleagues, students, family and friends.
